A cask formerly used for aging American bourbon. This cask will add honeyed sweetness, accompanied by a delicate dance of vanilla and caramel to your blend.
STR stands for – Shaving, Toasting, and Re-charring the casks, giving the whisky notes of toasted oak.
Pedro Ximénez Sherry cask from our own seasoning project in Spain. Gives a deep amber color and flavors of red fruits, dried fruits, dark chocolate and sometimes a mild spiciness.
A cask formerly used for aging peated whisky from the Isle of Islay, Scotland.
This cask will give the whisky a peaty smokiness flavor.

Can I choose any fill-level percentage I like?
According to our Head Distiller, Tomer Goren’s recommendation, there is a minimum and maximum amount for certain types of casks and this cannot be changed. But, you can choose the dose according to these limitations.
What is the recommended blend of Tomer Goren, our head distiller?
Tomer: “My blend combines all the casks, to create complexity and interest.”
Based on 55% Ex- Bourbon casks, just like our Elements series – which give sweetness, vanilla and caramel flavors.
On top of that I added 24% PX sherry casks, which will add red fruits, spiciness and a dark chocolate finish, and 16% STR casks, also an integral part of every bottle that comes out of the distillery – giving complexity, richness of flavors, and oak in the background.
Only 5% peated whisky from ex-lslay casks, which will give another layer, almost imperceptible, but one that will make everything stand out and also make you think about what you’re drinking.
Recommended alcohol percentage – 55%, not too strong and still allows slow dilution in the glass, oxidation and development of flavors.
Recommended for anyone who likes a balanced and sweet whisky and wants a bit of complexity in a glass.

49% ex- Bourbon casks – the perfect base for any whisky, gives flavors of vanilla and caramel.
6% STR cask – adding body and complexity with a hint of wood flavors in the background.
22% PX Sherry casks- adds sweetness of red fruits and spiced chocolate.
23% ex-Islay- balances the sweetness and gives smoky flavors and peaty earthiness that you just can’t stop sipping.
Recommended alcohol percentage – 56.7%, allows us to enjoy a powerful whisky to which you can add a few drops of water and feel the change in the glass.

Johnny: “As someone who entered the world of whisky (like many) through smoky whisky from the famous Scottish island, I chose the peat.”
40% of ex-Islay casks give a wonderful layer of peat that wraps our unpeated New Make in smoky earthy aromas, going hand in hand and complimenting the 46% of ex- bourbon casks, that give the familiar caramel-and-creamy body.
12% sweet sherry and 2% wine casks (STR), a combination between aromas of fruit and burnt wood, a light minty body, sweet-peat that rolls into a finish of chocolate milk and strawberry cream.
At 59% abv, you will get a complex and surprising dram, that continues to develop in the glass for 20-30 minutes.
What is Raz's Blend?
63% ex bourbon
7% PX sherry
Raz: “I chose to use three types of casks, to create balance, delicacy and sweetness.
Most of the blend is based on Ex bourbon and STR casks, with a light touch of PX sherry casks, to add sweetness and spice flavors in the background.”
