THE ELEMENTS SERIES
The M&H Elements series is a composition of flavors and aromas assembled from meticulously selected casks that bring forward characters enhanced by the casks' wood, origin, and history. Each expression in this series begins with the M&H Classic Single Malt Whisky and is complemented with whisky matured in various hand-picked, superlative, and quality oak casks, culminating in a beautiful natural color, impressive flavors, and a well-balanced single malt. The M&H Elements manifest the combination of traditional distillation methods with rapid but graceful hot climate maturation.
ELEMENTS sherry cask
Sherry casks are always a crowd favorite when it comes to whisky, however when our Elements Sherry Cask won the 2023 award for the best single malt whisky on Earth we knew that it was a true crowd pleaser.
The Elements Sherry Cask is the world’s first whisky matured in Kosher sherry casks. We had both Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez specially made to season the casks that end up maturing this whisky under the Tel Aviv
sun. We are careful to not let the sherry dominate the drinking experience, instead cultivating a complex medley of flavor in what is fast becoming a modern classic.
Aroma
Dominant rich red fruit notes and gentle oak, followed by warm
caramel and fresh lemon.
Palate
Medium bodied but brimming with light fruity sherry sweetness, rich fruits, and dark chocolate with subtle oak throughout.
Finish
The dark chocolate notes linger in the palate for a while,
followed by tobacco and oak notes.
ELEMENTS red wine cask
Israel has long been a cradle of wine production, and we weren’t going to let all those delectable casks go to waste! We scoured the country for casks that captured the Mediterranean essence of Israeli wine, before settling on subtle yet complex Carignan to form the bulk of the mix. This whisky is an ode to our local wine industry, with the characteristic fruitiness and tannic dryness of Israeli wines playfully dancing within.
The result is a whisky both complex and generously flavoured without sacrificing smoothness, resulting in a whisky that’s fully enjoyed both fast and slow.
Aroma
Red dried fruits, ginger, oak in a delicate bouquet tied
together with a gentle minerality.
Palate
Light bodied, where rich red wine, dry oak, and vanilla
blossom together.
Finish
Mild but rich, with dried fruits and wine lingering before
finishing with dark raisins
ELEMENTS lightly peated
Our Elements Lightly Peated dares to be different, standing apart from the more classically intense peated whiskies of the world. Crafted as a marriage between peated spirit in ex-Bourbon casks and unpeated spirit in iconic briny ex-Islay casks, the Lightly Peated strikes the perfect balance between the two.
This sweet and smoky whisky acts as a gateway dram to the world of peat, with the subtle smoke so characteristic of the style being balanced by sweet malt and soft spice. Let the world of peat open up in your glass, and transport you to the faraway shores of Islay all the way from sun soaked Tel Aviv.
Aroma
Delightfully fresh. A distinct smoky, earthy scent opens to a
unique balance of vanilla and oak notes, with a final hint of lemon.
Palate
Medium bodied. Vanilla sweetness is followed by a delicate
peat touch. A light spiciness accompanies ginger and lemon flavors.
Finish
Long. The peat coats the mouth, with delicate oak and lemon
flavors lingering on the tongue
ELEMENTS pomegranate wine cask
Who says that wine needs to be made from grapes? This is the world’s first and only Pomegranate Wine Cask aged whisky, with each cask handpicked from the Rimon winery located high in the Galilee. This whisky occupies a special place in the hearts of our team, as it is a unique and deliciously delicate snapshot into what Middle Eastern sourced casks can offer.
The fruity funk of pomegranate wine makes this whisky uniquely floral and perfumed, a true stand out among more classic cask types. Please enjoy this new frontier of whisky, one that shows off our local region with pride.
Aroma
Toasted walnuts and oak dusted with lavender and cloves chased by echoes of the telltale sweet and sour funk of pomegranate wine.
Palate
Moreish and pastry-like, fanned by soft fruity tannins.
FINISH
Indulgent baked apples and chocolate, flecked with peppery cloves and the warmth of oak.
