ART&CRAFT BARLEY WINE CASK

This single malt whisky has been fully matured in 4 ex-beer casks from the prominent and creative Alexander Brewery, an Israeli craft brewery located in the pastoral Hefer Valley. These casks, originally ex-bourbon casks granted to Alexander by M&H, were in-turn used for the maturation of a special barley wine, characterized by a high ABV and a sweet character, with notes of caramel, toffee and coconut. After 6 months, the beer was extracted and the casks returned to M&H, re-filled and matured to perfection for 3 years.
