Apex Single Cask STR
This single malt whisky was aged in a Red Wine STR cask.
The STR process was pioneered by the late Dr. Jim Swan, our friend, consultant, and one of the most known whisky experts. STR stands for Shaving, Toasting, and Re-charring the cask, giving the whisky notes of toasted oak and red fruits.
